Over the last two decades, I’ve spent a lot of time in random places, reflecting on various aspects of agriculture, conservation, and the environment (see blog categories at the left).

CIMMYT is located about 5 km from the town of Texcoco de Mora, which is roughly 25 kilometers north and east of Mexico City. I spent a lot of time planning research and a lot of time meeting people this week. It was awesome. Being at CIMMYT is something dreams are made of, and no one ever told me the food would be so good on site, too.
